Global Category Director, Skin Health, Karo Healthcare
Sally joined Karo Healthcare last year as Global Category Director on their Skin Health business, with a remit to rejuvenate their €100m portfolio of skin brands. This included E45, which had been newly acquired from Reckitt, and was in need of a new lease of life! Prior to joining Karo, Sally has spent over 20 years in Local and Global sales and marketing within the Food and Healthcare sectors. She began her career at Nestle, firstly in Sales & Category Marketing then moving into Brand Marketing. Balancing the needs of a young family and the desire to build an agile, entrepreneurial skillset outside of big corporates, Sally set up a successful brand consultancy, supporting fledgling brands to gain scale. She then went on to join GSK/Haleon, building their global digital capability programme and latterly in Brand, Comms and Innovation within the Oral Health category, before joining Karo in April 2022. The brands may differ, but the challenges are the same; staying relevant to changing consumer needs, balancing long term brand building with the need for ever greater efficiency and - always - harnessing the power of the team.
